State sponsored rape

Do you call it rape when it's done to see where those cysts are on the ovary and to plan a route for laproscopic surgery? Is it rape when there's a pelvic exam for your health checkup.
Women are different than men and from a very young age we are "invaded?"

The chief difference here being that abortion, except in extreme cases, is an elective procedure with the question being should the woman be forced to endure an invasive exam before the abortion is performed.

I, also, see the problem of higher Medicaid costs. Why should the taxpayer be saddled with, yet another, medically unnesseccary procedure just to satisfy someone else's morality?

Could this be in some measure another manifestation of an industry imposed "christmas tree tax" in the sense that certain actors in the medical profession have gotten legislation written that would bring them direct economic benefit? Like Obamacare and Romneycare, neither of those are socialist or marxist in the truer sense but rather pure capitalism in it's crony sense where certain market actors used gov't and law to create a monopoly for and of themselves while pushing out other market competitive forces that offer a variety of service options that keep prices down.

Case in point would be "The Motor of Motown Capitalism!"

BTW: If the gov't is being controlled by a socialist or marxist, then looking at the latest stock prices from Wall Street, Wall Street must be socialist and marxist too!

In some sense, Marx was right in some areas but from the appearance of all those throwing around his name these days, appears to me so few have ever read Marx to begin with but then so few have read Mussolini so I guess that's where they get "fair and balanced" from. But then a lot of people pretend to speak for god and yet so few of those if any have actually read god's words so go figure!

And it's also elective.....it's your choice to go and no one forces you!!

You are right---no one has to take care of themself medically.

Back to the thread---I do not think that a woman should have to undergo a mandatory invasive medical procedure first in order to undergo an elective invasive medical procedure.
