[QUOTE="browniehound, post: 487863, member: 4653"] This may sound off-base, but I think it may be a good thing if your center-manager showed you this. He disclosed to you everything he can prove on paper that you performed the previous day. It appears to me to be a fair warning. Most of us will look at the report and just obey the rules. Of course, there will be a few "not so smart" employees that will continue to ignore the new "diagnostics" (Thats what I like to refer to them as:happy2:) and will suffer the dicipline. The part I don't understand is why would you do it and what could your defense be? If management has this evidence we will just look like fools unless we have a logical explination. If you need to go off route during lunch, just ask your center manager. I have always been granted permission and it was more tha 3 miles one-way this valentines day. I checked this off as a nice favor by the center team. I ran my errand on my time (my hour lunch) but used UPS's fuel (at 5-6 miles round-trip) to complete the errand. It sounds like a lot of miles, but I'm routinely sent 2-3 miles off route to deliver ground misloads. Great that we made service on the parcel, but not so great that we lost money on the parcel once fuel and driver labor is calculated, e.g. $15 in just the driver's labor cost to deliver a package that produced $7 in revenue:dissapointed:.
