Critical Raxe Theory

This is what I consider learning about the bad, yes. Learning things that challenge the learner. If academics believe it's valuable then I say let's allow them to carve out some time to expose students to these ideas.

We need more critical thought, not less.
Critical thought isn’t really starting until high school. More so college. So teaching kids certain things at a young age is a lot less about critical thought and more brain washing.

The racist ahistorical 1619 project is being taught in elementary schools all across the country. It is basically setting kids up to be brainwashed into the critical race theory narrative.

No curriculum. No directive. No notes. No nothing.
Because it’s a freaking boogeyman. LOL. Big LOL at CRT hysteria. Freaking morons!!!!

You realize that in the article you linked, the author specifically says he teaches CRT in schools in NYC and all over the US, right?

"In my own work and in partnership with communities and schools across the country, I have seen how hungry people are for truth."

"In Community District 13 in New York City, I worked with school leaders using CRT"

"Across the country, I’ve worked with school leaders, teachers, parents and students using CRT"

"David E. Kirkland (he/him/his) is a professor of urban education at New York University, where he also serves as executive director of NYU Metro Center."

There is no set curriculum.
It’s a broad stroke idea that we should be honest about our history.
Nothing more, nothing less. No alternative motive. No communism. No socialism, just teachin kids about slavery

From the Yahoo News article I quoted in post #7 of this thread. Is teaching this to children really "nothing more, nothing less" than "being honest about our history"?

"Republicans have expressed opposition to critical race theory, which holds that the U.S. is inherently racist and that skin color is used to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites, saying that the philosophy relegates all white people to the role of oppressors and all people of color to that of victims.”

That doesn't matter. CRT is what it is. If it's being taught in schools its fundamental tenets are undoubtedly involved:

-the U.S. is inherently racist
-skin color is used to create and maintain social, economic, and political inequalities between whites and nonwhites
-all white people are oppressors and all people of color are victims
