Don't know how much retrofitting would cost for an air force one, but if two much, I'm sure the air force could use it for something else.
They would have to gut it and rebuild. Not worth the expense. Better to leave it as is and use it as an oversized VIP bus. Not one Trump would be allowed to ride on.

I think there's generally 3 different levels of belief in Bible stories:

1. Belief
2. Belief that they're metaphorical
3. Non-belief

I tend to hover between the second and third and @rickyb probably feels it's his comrade's duty to stick to 3.
Fair enough assessment. I wouldn't expect a non Christian to accept the level of truth of the bible or even Jesus/Christ. And yet rickyb contends to be the arbiter and spokesman as to what the most Christian things are

How simple minded can Trump be to believe that plane doesn't have the ability to blow itself out of the sky with the flip of a switch?

Parting of the sea.

Theres nothing wrong with it being partly fake.

You can still learn things from stories.

But if thats true then dont diss star wars

A metaphorical interpretation of an event that actually occurred on planet Earth isn't the same as a completely fictional story that happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

Are you saying the red sea actually parted by a persons will?

No. I'm saying that could be a metaphorical interpretation of an event that actually occurred on planet Earth.

And so could all the stuff in matrix and star wars

Its probably a metaphor bc it helps you learn the meaning through discovery instead of just explaining everything

For example a death star blowing up a planet is metaphor for a nuke blowing up a city in japan

Where do you get that it's partly fake? What parts are real and what parts are fake? What really happened if it's not true?

At the beginning of american fascists, hedges, harvard divinity school grad, describes how the bible was written.

Not meant to be taken literally
What does he say actually happened? Or since it doesn't seem possible does he just assumes this? The bible also claims that Jesus died and rose from the dead. Is that metaphorical too? because if you can prove that you can disprove all of Christianity

Yes its a metaphor

He says it was written by men who had their own problems
