not everyone struggles. ppl are born into different situations. some are born as paris hilton, white and rich. some ppl are born in rich countries, some are born in poor countries.

You think rich people don't struggle? Maybe not to eat. So what? Being born into wealth has its own struggles. One of the biggest ones is believing they can spend their troubles away. Many don't survive that struggle.
Being a victim is different than being harmed. I've been harmed plenty, and done my share of harming. I've only been a victim of my own stubborn wrongheadedness.
look this system is set up for ppl who are already rich and white and it perpetuates it. my parents are rich because of property. i will have a major advantage against my peers regardless of what they or i do. its ridiculous.
no if u look up the definition of being a victim it means you were harmed in part.

If material wealth is not all that matters, wouldn't you say people who somehow find a sense of well-being no matter their circumstances have an unfair advantage over everyone else?
your talking about mind over matter. thats not something i would say most ppl achieve and its not an excuse for injustice but it is admirable. however i think only looking inward for solutions doesnt work.

I have no problem looking for solutions to problems that many people face. But, like Sowell says in that video, you can't boil every problem down to one variable, come up with a one-size-for-all solution that addresses that one variable, and pretend that you have solved the problem.
It is all mind over matter. How would you end suffering when people find new reasons to suffer no matter their circumstances? We have the key to unlock our shackles, many people simply prefer to wear their chains.
i agree that people do want to wear chains. the constant lies dont help.
the mind over matter thing to me may be about not letting the forces of darkness have the final word.
we sortve have political democracy. but we have a long ways to go for economic democracy.
