In my mom's case because of her brain cancer she was barely cognizant top  of the line hearing aids provided only a minimal degree of hearing . And about 2-3 weeks from her death who show up? Hospice. My brother's response was : "Who in the expletive deleted are you people and what are you doing here this late in the process?'. And then to announce their arrival accompanied by a generous helping of bad attitude.</blockquote>
