Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6059946" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>True, why not just hold the line in the Donbas?  They were driven out of the rest of Ukraine except Crimea which they had taken before the war.  Russia could have been saying to the international community that they had accomplished their goal of protecting ethnic Russians in the Donbas and are willing to negotiate.  When have they said that?  If Russia is so dominate then why did they bring in North Korean troops?  Russia has suffered over half a million casualties and are on their way to a million if it lasts much longer.  Think about how long we were in Vietnam and lost a comparatively low 50k troops.  The Ukrainian War is a meat grinder.</p></blockquote><p></p>
