Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6079307" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>I agree with a lot of what you said.  But there is such a thing as balance of trade.  Our symbiotic relationship with these countries has gotten out of balance.  Maintaining the status quo means further deterioration of our middle class.  That's what Trump is trying to address.  Because our leaders haven't been responsible with their spending, and because of the trade imbalances, we as a nation can no longer afford to be everyone's protector or continue to be Uncle Sugar.  The ones who got wealthy with the status quo are now the ones screaming the loudest.  Instead of passing the buck we finally got a leader who is willing to address the problem head on.  Whether you like it or not this has to happen.</p></blockquote><p></p>
