Message: <blockquote data-quote="vantexan" data-source="post: 6103336" data-attributes="member: 24302"><p>The only thing that I've read will continue at the Federal level is student loans.  May be more but that's what I read.  And it will be up to each state.   I know when Bush was in office they had "No Child Left Behind."  I used to pick up from small rural high schools in Texas that treated the outgoing FedEx letter with results for that program like it was a bomb they were trying to get off their hands before it exploded.  Poorer states might have an easier time not meeting Federal demands on their time and resources.  The Department of Education was created by Carter in 1980.  I can't see that adding that level of bureaucracy has improved education nationwide.</p></blockquote><p></p>
