Message: <blockquote data-quote="newfie" data-source="post: 6125793" data-attributes="member: 58700"><p>i think the excess spending issue is a whole lot more complicated than that.   When DOGE audited the treasury records they found the treasury was not even using basic accounting methods.  So they were sending checks out and never recorded who it was for, what appropriation plan it was under or even who requested it.  that means anyone working in government in a leadership position could literally request a check be cut and sent to some one or some organization without being questioned , challenged or required to justify it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
