I’d really only expect masks when around a lot of people who are in close proximity outdoors or when around unrelated people indoors.

In a week or two I’ll stop using KN-95 masks and downgrade to surgical masks in grocery stores and indoor public spaces. I and all of the older people I know have been fully vaccinated and no longer need to be protected. At this point it’s becoming more of a courtesy toward others who haven’t been vaccinated yet. And those people can go out into the red Trumpee areas that have more supply than demand to get it done pretty much whenever they want to now.

This can’t be a continued crisis after mass vaccination has occurred just so Congressional Democrats can push through trillions more in spending programs. Or because Fauci has to keep saying we need to keep hunkering down for months more just because a rigorous study hasn't yet said we don't need to.

I wear a mask when I go to the store and that's about it. We run on local trails every morning, never considered wearing a mask, occasionally see other people on the trail wearing masks though. Virginia is supposed to open vaccination to all adults later this month and I would expect the state mask mandates and limits on indoor dining and such to be lifted soon after that.

I was only taking about indoor mask usage. There were some people wearing them on the trails where we saw another person about every hour which seemed very strange to me. In Trumpistan country they weren’t wearing them inside restaurants or shops. They also aren’t really getting vaccinated which doesn’t make much sense to me either.

Once we are at the 200 death or less per day mark, we are less that the worse regular flu numbers ever. We didn't even know there was a flu going around then.
