The lack of due process, hearsay, Sixth Amendment rights to confront accusers etc.
It wasn’t a criminal trial , but still, is it proper to falsify evidence, and then, when you get busted red-handed, shrug it off because you were only doing it to a Republican?

Ok I've got to hear this . What falsified evidence? What he said and what he incited was all they on video tape and for the record. We'll see just how "falsified" that evidence was if he is criminally charged. If he is the only thing he has going for him would be the difficulty in finding an impartial jury to hear the case because the whole country saw the coup attempt played out right before their very eyes.

The House did not withhold the articles. McConnell made it clear that he would not ACCEPT the articles of impeachment until AFTER the inauguration. What else could they do? Go downtown and rent a storage locker? As for the video of the coup the House offered the parts that favored the prosecution while the defense presented a version that favored them.

They compared what happened with the House version. The House managers were highly selective, trying to create a narrative. All the defense had to do was show the video without the edits. What's troubling is in spite of House mgrs clearly trying to mislead senators 57 of them still voted t convict. The TDS runs right through the Senate.
