IMHO, Lawyer A (Cohen) says that he was involved with all the decisions that were made.
He clearly overstated his involvement here and can not be taken as a creditable witness.

If this goes to trial, Lawyer A better be wearing an extra large diaper to protect himself during cross-examination.

No one has to claim innocence, it’s up to the state to prove guilt. IMO he’s innocent. And legal experts agree.
