Trump is not a convicted felon yet. Despite the jury coming in with a guilty verdict nothing is official until the judge sentences. Jury nullification is still a possibility but very unlikely from Trump hating Merchan.
Even less of a chance of that now that Trump’s other trials won’t be happening before the election. If they don’t sentence now they might never be able to.

Change of venue can occur when it's believed a defendant can't get a fair trial in that jurisdiction. Trump's lawyers petitioned for a change of venue but were denied by the judge.
