Just heard that McConnell is supporting the impeachment of Trump!
One source told Fox News that McConnell has not made up his mind about what to do about impeachment, and does not see this as a partisan exercise like the previous impeachment effort against Trump.
Another source told Fox News that McConnell told associates that impeachment will help rid the Republican Party of Trump and his movement.

It’s time for the country to unify and remove the wanna be dictator. Any R senators that don’t want to vote to convict can stay home, just need 2/3 of senators present to vote to convict. As soon as Trump is removed the right wing propaganda machine can make the Republican base believe it’s what they all wanted to begin with.

The fact is Trump is losing support. The rank and file is abandoning him. Donors are fleeing. The Republican Party won’t survive supporting an insurrectionist. Mitch will take the opportunity to purge the party of the cancer that is Trump. Patriots will support the Republic over one man.
