I just think it’s hilarious that the same people saying getting Iran to sign an actual anti nuclear deal with inspections and enforcement mechanisms was giving Iran nukes.
Yet trump is going around praising and spreading propaganda for North Korea because of what the government merely said. That’s enough for trump and his supporters in North Korea.

trump’s ego and his fragile supporters so wants to say something got done and winning....... that any utterance from the North Korean government will be propagandized by trump and his supporters as proof of a win for trump. It is very very perverse.

That said, I think trump meeting with Un is a great break with a tradition of non diplomatic engagement that has failed and I wish President Obama would have seriously contemplated doing this.
