I don't think it's good to be judgemental of people who are simply in the dark about their own implicit bias in regards to different races' diverse political opinions.

Sometimes if we don't address this unintended racism with understanding, it can inflame white fragility and shut down conversations that can better all of us.

I'm gonna take a guess:

That old woman spent much of her life living in the region of the current conflict. It is also obvious that she is an immigrant to this nation and that her English skills do not allow her to fully articulate what she would like to say.

Overall, I would very much give her the benefit of any doubt regarding her opinion on the conflict in the area.

The last thing I would do is belittle, mock, or make fun of an elderly immigrant who has escaped a war-torn area. And who is also making a sincere effort to learn the language, and adapt to a region of the world that she now calls home.
