Please research your complaint before prooving how ignorant you are. UPS puts more money into our pension and benifits than any other employer in our multi-employer pension fund. The truth is when is the Union going to give us (the hourly employee's) what's right, not what's left. Think about it, UPS put 600+ million extra in the pension fund this year and how much did the pension go up....................0.

ups should have to put more money into the pension, 1 because they have it & 2 because they got the best workers in the industry, Teamsters. It should be progressive, just like our tax system should. The rich should pay more, 1 because they have the money & 2 they benefit from taxes more than the poor. Teamster ups pensions pay more than the ups pension that was pulled from the central states.

Pension plans must receive 7.5% on their investments just to keep up with retirees and all the administrative costs that go along with running the plan. These Pension Plans were started when UPS was a small company and the multi-employers carried their members.

You say UPS put 600 million extra into what plan????? UPS puts no more than is contractually agreed upon into a plan.

Take a good look at what just happened in one of the biggest (UPS member) locals in the country. Local 705 which is a TDU local lost over a billion because of bad investments.

The alternative is get rid of the union and trust UPS to give you what they think you should get. Everyone knows how that would work out.
