At best all you're going get until they sit down is subtle signs. they say they are open to trade talks with preconditions of course to show they are controlling events. meanwhile they quietly eliminate a lot of tariffs on some of the products that we ship there. I'm sure there are some back door talks going on as to how to set up trade talks.

whats more interesting to me right now is Canada. Trump has said we don't need Canada and he is somewhat right . We dont need their cars, lumber or dairy . We would need to transition the auto parts manufacturing, electricity fed to northern states We would need to ramp up oil production to account for what we're now buying. We've basically been propping up their economy by buying products we can easily make here.
