An ad hoc example but I can attest to this ... I ordered a Seymour Duncan La Brea set of pickups for a Fender Telecaster I am modding from a vendor in Georgia (150 miles away) on November 27th and I got them on 12/14.
Normally, I get orders from this vendor the next day ... this time 2 1/2 weeks.
So, did the USPS "string" you along?

I put Fender Noiseless IV in my MIM Swamp Ash Tele and have been VERY happy with sound. Neon lights in bars we play no longer give it that horrible 60 Cycle Hum

I ordered an Item from a town that is 79 miles from my house. The guy used USPS. It was shipped on December the 2nd. I got it today, December the 16th. I could have crawled there and back on my hands and knees and gotten it faster. I had been in touch with the shipper to be sure he hadn't scammed me. He said he had a bunch of packages shipped that day that still hadn't been delivered.
