One of the major errors the Democrats made, and are continuing to make, is to try and tie every potential GOP candidate to Donald Trump. Youngkin wisely kept his distance but that didn't stop the Democrats from trying to come up with blatant lies such as Trump and Youngkin campaigned together, had rallies for him etc.
Youngkin ran a grassroots campaign and stuck to the issues while McCauliffe played the Trump boogeyman angle which, along with bringing in Obama, Harris and Lunchbox Joe, backfired spectacularly.
But what does Joy Reid get out of all this? "This election shows white parents don't want to teach their kids about race."
Its clearer than ever that most of the major news outlets in this country are either fantastically disconnected from reality or are the propaganda garbage machines that many people think they are.

Agree. I would never vote for Orange Mussolini but I would vote for a quality Republican candidate like Youngkin over whatever the Democrats manage to shart out. I’m prepared to be massively underwhelmed by their next pick.
