VOTE YES!!

Just wanted to know how it feels to tell others how to vote. I feel empowered.

I'm confused; the Teamsters are telling us to vote YES, and you say you want to know how it feels to tell other to vote - so you follow the Teamsters in telling us to vote YES?

Sorry to rain on your parade, but I'm grazing with the flock. I'm voting NO.

Let's clear it up for you..:confused:1
If you have been reading the forums for the last two weeks or so you would know there has been a large influx of newly registered people here with an agenda to tell everyone to just vote "NO"! (I believe this would even include you)

leftinbuilding started this thread in fun because of that, somehow I think you already knew that!

NO.

Sorry you can't vote no in this thread!! :tongue_sm

But I see that grazing with the lemmings already has you convinced..:thumbup1:

So people who are urging a NO vote have an "agenda," while those who toe the part line don't. Uh huh.

By the way, you might be more convincing if you use a few more smilies.

P.S. It's just possible that the large influx of newly registered people you speak of has something to do with a NEW CONTRACT which has people searching for answers. And if many of us are using the NO word a lot, then maybe it's because we think the contract stinks.

People who urge a YES vote can be accused of working for UPS and/or the Teamsters (though they could also be voting YES because they genuinely believe the contract benefits them or it's the best we're going to get). So what shadowy organization might us NO people be working for???

The Socialists!! And we all know how evil they are...

Well, to be perfectly honest, I have come to suspect that many of the people advertising themselves as socialists are actually corporate operatives. They certain run some amazingly stupid political campaigns, even worse than John Kerry.

But I greatly admire the socialists of yesteryear, along with the new new socialists budding in Latin America, like Venezuela's Hugo Chavez.

Gee, I wonder? :detective
Like many here we have been looking for any info on the contract for weeks even months. I signed up at makeupsdeliver and received their emails and updates, i never received an email to come to this site. Now with that being said i did receive an email and an invite to sit in on a conference call to discuss the contracts pros and cons on this last sunday. I thought it went real well hearing the good, the bad and the ugly and this went on for about 90 minutes, however at the end of the conference call, we were asked to go onto all ups realted websites and infrom the members and this site was the first site mentioned. This goes out to all of you tduers, your input is welcomed, but we are a family here, we all dont agree and fight with each other just like a normal family. We know what posters have valuable information and what posters are full of it, so do everyone a favor and allow us the time to debate the issues without any outsiders with your own agendas. We do know who you are because most of us here do not only post under contract talks, we actually do care about each other and the company and union we belong to. Stop forcing us your kool-aid!

Gee, what a coincidence; I wasn't invited to visit this site, either.

Family = Clique; in other words, "tduers" (i.e. anyone who doesn't toe the party line) are welcome to visit this site as long they don't offer their opinions.

We know what posters have valuable information and what posters are full of it, so do everyone a favor and allow us the time to debate the issues without any outsiders with your own agendas.

Ah, the evil OUTSIDERS, who have AGENDAS, unlike the benevolent INSIDERS, who are as pure as the driven snow!

We do know who you are because most of us here do not only post under contract talks, we actually do care about each other and the company and union we belong to. Stop forcing us your kool-aid!
No one can force you to drink kool-aid. Take control of your life and start drinking water.

I appreciate your quick response but in your haste I think you missed something from Red's post. The TDU (aka makeupsdeliver.com) instructed their members to go to all UPS related websites, this one was mentioned first.

Well, if you want to get the word out and learn what other people are thinking, where else are you going to go? I mean how many UPS forums do you know of?

Other than this giggle thread can you link the threads where people are urging others to vote yes? I believe I missed those. I'd like to compare them to the number of vote no threads that cropped up recently.

I demand a drug test on all those who are voting yes without really reading the contract and asking others on how each change will effect them!

We need to vote this contract down and make them fix every article that affects us negatively. :thumbup1:

The problem with the TDU'ers, is any contract the IBT agrees on (even if UPS sweeten the pot and thru in a Caddilac) the TDU would reject it because the Caddy didn't come with chrome wheels.
