If you (or another driver) weren't able to recover the pkg I'd be more concerned that they'll invoke the restitution clause of Art 10 Sect 1 NMA. A warning letter is no big deal. But from now on 1. get a sig when you're delivering Apple bulk and 2. look at every shipping label before you load the cart/put the piece on the dock/scan it/etc. This past winter they kept dispatching me sections of a loopmate's route. That driver happens to be the safety committee co-chair. Had a follow up for a piece he misdelivered. Reading the follow up, and based on my cover driving days, I could tell he hadn't paid any attention to the label and delivered based on the (bad) pal. He left an international shipment containing $3000 worth of electronics at the door of a resi that was about 5 miles from the business. I had the follow up the first day and the third day and made legit attempts both times. NI-1 and NI-3 LOL
