What is Alcoholics Anonymous to you?

Integrity

There was a time I considered joining AA but all the religious stuff turned me off it.
I have experienced many individuals who have expressed a similar opinion.

It is a spiritual program true, and it does mention God true, however a major difference from religions is that AA leaves the definition of God solely to the understanding of each individual and it is not allied with any religion. Each person is really open to forming their own relationship with a God that they can understand.

It really is not religious at all.

@BeefiestMass,
Where are you obtaining your stats and is there a point you are trying to make?

Do you have experience with AA?
It's just hyperbole based on my own experience, don't fret. The actual data says that it's less than 50% effective, but that also goes for all drug and alcohol treatment. In AAs defense, it's not a treatment program in itself, just a community, so unlike other recovery/rehab methods, it's more a cult than a scam.
