A great portion of the part time staff has way above what an arbitrator would consider excessive so long as the company does progressive discipline. We had guys with 10 or more no call/ no show days with 20 call outs and 30% of the time late. They rarely if ever get fired but get an occasional suspension. There may be a higher standard for showing up if they start making money because people will be looking to get into the company and no problem filling positions. It gets harder to file sups working grievances while 30% of the force doesn't show up, but I do it anyway and get paid.</p></blockquote><p></p>
