[QUOTE="The Milkman, post: 1513796, member: 22760"] Yes the ones in Atlanta pull their strings.Sad because a lot of mgrs I saw come and go for the most part were ok and I got along with them. After I got a 3 day suspension for an unreported accident.( I knocked over a lampost with my p500, was backing up a curved driveway and the post was shrouded in bushes and was hard to see..The husband said don't worry about it..It was old and needed to be replaced anyway, I will fix it..Well a month later his wife calls and tells UPS what I did after her husband filed for divorce and did not fix it like he said he would) From that point on if I so much as bent a blade of grass on someones property I reported it! Lesson learned... The Division MGR who gave me the time off told me 3 things to make it at UPS...........#1.Come to work everyday..#2..Be here on time..And #3..Do the best job you can.......fairly simple things to do..If you can do your job whether it be 3,4,or 6 trucks....... and you feel good about yourself just be aware as you know...the company will push you to your limits so just work smart and safe and if you can do that....You may someday retire like many of us did.......
