As a customer you pay for the right to expect the best service.That is what UPS is supposed to be about. We fall short sometimes and you KNOW this. Like I said before, be pro-active. You are NOT the only customer that has complained about the lack of service. Hell, we drivers complain about it too. Train your driver (I don't remember reading if you have a new driver or if this was done by a cover driver).
