Hi everyone. I recently interviewed for a load planner position. 1.5 weeks ago. Currently I haven't heard anything from HR, but I'm assuming it will take some time because they have to do a federal background check. Anyone know the time frame a federal background check can take? I'm getting a bit discouraged.

It takes about 2 weeks. What location did you apply at?

3 weeks later and no phone call saying yes or no. Beginning to lose hope. I know the applicant field was very small, so I thought I would have gotten a call with good or bad news at the very least.

Call the person who did the interview. Do you remember the name? Don't wait any longer.

Keep calling. Let them know you want the job. I would keep calling till you actually talk to the person. Make them sick of hearing from you.

I am sorry about that. But I agree with Cement; keep calling until you talk to that person.
