Am I Going Blind?

I'm having a hell of a time reading the home page. It seems that the brown background is getting darker. My mother always told me that if I didn't stop it, I'd go blind. Maybe I should have listened to her so long ago!

All kidding aside, the home page starts with a dark brown background....making things hard to see, but then it pops into a light tan background and all the words are clear then.
