no matter what the RCP polls indicate, these people wont believe it (like morelock) until election night. The RCP has never been wrong in a presidential election, with the exception of the inclusion of the Scott Rassmussens polls which are always wrong.
They will go down with the ship until they are up to their necks in bad water, then they will turn the channel and watch reruns of "That 70's show"...
We've seen this movie twice before.

What really gripes my *** about this campaign is how everyone was swearin' how they would back whichever candidate got the win......then when it's Trump, the 'spineless wonders' are backing away.
My real disappointment is in Romney....I thought he was a loyal person.....he's a clique member and a snob !!

No morelock, Romney sees what the rest of thinking america sees, Trump has no chance of winning. The math just isnt there for him.
Trump is no more qualified to run for president, than you are running for town mayor.
All he has to offer is FLUFF, stupid talk for stupid people, and so far, he's winning that one.
Maybe, you people will learn, like the rest of the republican party already has, that the crowds at the rallies need to have some diversity in them, meaning, blacks, asians, hispanics, single women and gays.
When you see that in the crowds, then your party will have a chance to win the White House again.
After 2012, the RNC realized that just trying for the Angry White Vote was enough to win an election. After they got smoked in 2012, the party tried to change platforms enough to reach out to the other demographics that will decide this election and TRUMP decided that he would run a campaign about isolating himself with white people.
Romney won 65% of the white vote in the country and still lost big in 2012.
So, lets give Trump 70% of the white vote, and guess what?
HE STILL LOSES.
This is your reality. You just have to learn to accept it.
Its too late to turn the bus around, its too late for TRUMP to pivot and get the black vote, the hispanic vote, the asian vote or the single woman vote.
This is why the republican party doesnt want to support him. They already know this is a lost cause.
Look at how many GOP officials from congress and the senate have already said they wont attend the convention.
That tells you all you need to know.
