you really don't have to register for either party, if you want you can go as an independent. Also they can't deny you from voting if you are not registered.
sometimes i get articles about people complaining about registration.
anyways whatever.
the thing i worry about is when you hear these "were a republic, not a democracy" arguments, and i wonder how well democracy polls vs how many ppl support a dictatorship.

republic just means elected officals are appointed as opposed to elected.
yea i dont see the difference between that and democracy. i know theres other countries which are democratic republics as well.

i dont know much about canadian democracy. we dont have proportional representation which the current PM lied about changing. i know much more about the american system. the founding fathers created a closed system and they were the richest dudes in the country; democracy only spread because of struggle
yea i wonder what the differences are between you and say italy or switzerland where they have referendums.

With all the talk of doing away with the electoral (there's no "I" in electoral) college, don't you think Trump would have campaigned differently if election was by popular vote?? The dems just can't accept a loss from years ago.
