If you think you might enjoy being totally controlled by a bunch of unelected clergy there are plenty of places on this planet who would be happy to give you the opportunity to try it out for yourself.

Wow... almost 22 pages of garbage.
This thread is a train wreck and believe me i know about train wrecks i live in Ohio....
I don't care that we work for different companies, in my eyes we all are out there dealing with the same garbage day in and day out and doing the same work. I always wave at the fedex ground freight and express drivers in my route and try and chat with them if i can. I haven't had a chance yet to ask them if any of this merger stuff is affecting them. For those affected i hope you are able to keep your jobs and if not i hope you are able to find a better replacement job and quick. Greedy corporations suck.

As usual, the thread got sidelined by the usual suspects. Since you don't work at FedEx let me share a little secret with you. There's corporate greed, which is normal, and then there's predatory extreme corporate greed, which is where FedEx makes UPS look perfect in comparison. In typical fashion, they're not letting most employees know if they're losing their jobs, but keeping everyone in limbo so there isn't a mass exodus. It's only fair to give someone a heads-up about becoming suddenly unemployed. FedEx will string everyone along.
