I tell every new hire I meet to just do what your told and don't ask questions or complain for your first 30 working days. After that, fair days work for a fair days pay. Sounds like they didn't want you for whatever reason and found some BS excuse to get rid of you before you had seniority.

You really only have to put up with that crap for 30 working days, someone dropped the ball not filling you in on that.

Too bad they didn't give me a fair shot. It wasn't that bad of a job. Nobody said anything about the 30 day rule to me.
