the American people elected a majority Republican Senate, one of the consequences of that is court appointments can be held up; why do you support the dictate of one man over the will of the people?
And after 2.5 years of actions by Garland I'm thankful that Mitch McConnell headed that off by pointing out that it had been tradition for a very long time to not take up a Supreme Court nomination in an election year.
