Bad idea. Recording someone without permission is illegal in some states. Get a witness and then lower the boom by calling HR. Tell them you feel intimidated and humiliated by this sups verbal abuse.

I get it. HR is created to protect the company at all costs. If you file and use HR then it's fair game to hire an attorney and file a claim with the labor board. Then the good old boys at UPS figure out that this is going to cost them.
