It's my second job. I have a day job 9:30-5:30, so it's a little tough to work from 4:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. every day. But the benefits, when they kick in, will save me a ton of money. I have to cover a wife and two children, so my current day job benefits are almost a $1k a month in premiums, on top of the copays and such.
My father has been at UPS since the late 90's, for the same reason, the benefits. So I knew what I was getting into here.
The shift is hard work, but it'll be worth it to me long-term.
