had an interview with pension guy 3 years ago and he said I only needed 500 hrs in 2015 to go out.

    another source said 1000 hrs.

can someone clarify this for me and quote / link the source please?

thanks. would like to especially hear from western conference teamsters that have had personal experience in this before they retired.

    thank you.

  2. I retired in May. My pension office told me all I needed was 500 hours. Got this info from http://www.wctpension.org/ in person.

Year of Contributory Service. You earn oneyear of contributory service for each calendar year in which you complete at least 500 covered hours. You can only earn one year of contributory service for each calendar year. Past employment and hours of service that are not covered hours do not count toward your years of contributory service. For example, hours of disability absence do not count as covered hours.
