PRETTY SAD!
"Life is all about timing..the unreachable becomes reachable, the unavailable becomes available...the unattainable..attainable. Have the patience, wait it out it's all about the timing".
Good quote, but I'm not getting any younger. On last week's message, Local 2727 said they would update their message on voting for a release. A week goes by and this week's message tells nothing about a release. We now have an embarrassment, get back to negotiations and quit stalling. Enough of the big talk and get us a contract!!! It's obvious you aren't getting a release, even the company can see that by now!
Dont forget 401k match. The 8 weeks vac is nice also. Best thing is just sit and watch TV or surf internet, right UPSSUCKS?
UPS Pilots furloughs begin, despite unions effort to save jobs.

I think it will fall to 60 in the near future.
A company that furloughs pilots and says we are doing it recession or not, is a company that is shooting from the hip. UPS is losing business to show who is boss to it's own employees. They cancelled 6, 747 military charters for June, stating that they don't have the pilots to cover the flights? Who is making these decisions and why are they still here? You can't make money by turning down business!!!
They are leaving freight behind in California and in China at the customers expense. They are still looking to consolidate more even if it means losing customers just to prove some moronic point.
Are these the same buffoons that put those new engines on the 727s with heads up displays just because they didn't want to buy FedEx's hush kits? One became a glider going into ORD, only to be saved by our highly skilled pilots.
