Not directly related (or maybe it is) but I saw this quote today and immediately thought of MrFedEx:

Well scam, are you bragging or apologizing? If FedEx is turning into a Ground company I have yet to notice any changes to my uniform or the decals on my truck. Might take awhile too.

I am doing neither. Simply stating what you yourself have acknowledged whenever you look at the compensation "give backs" Fred imposes on Express. Keep whatever uniform and decals you want. Those don't cost Fred any more than Ground decals and uniforms cost.

Judging by what they've done with my loop, looks like we won't have to worry about getting enough hours. Express will get smaller through attrition, and employees rts will expand to cover more area with less people. FedEx wants us to be as productive as possible. And by putting more and more on us they'll most likely hasten the departure of many who don't want to work like maniacs for low pay. Those who stick around will get more overtime. FedEx can pay better but they'd rather give us more through overtime to get something in return rather than speed up our raises. So I think the scenario where couriers are only getting 35-37 hrs a week is only likely in depressed areas. If you are living in an area with a better economy you'll do better. And probably have to spend the extra on higher rent.

Good luck to you and the new site. Even if I don't always think everything you say as word, you have some very real and good points.

I'm pretty sure had some very legitimate points, but I could never get get through all of the exaggerated hyperbole and juvenile personal attacks to find them. Maybe his different direction is one in which he doesn't become unglued when someone dares to disagree with him. If so, good. If not, not my problem.

New tactic. As usual, it sucks and won't work. I didn't start the site because I simply didn't have the time to do so and the union battle had already been lost. I hope this backfires as badly as your other brainstorms, and please stop PMing me saying you are "sorry". I don't need a stalker.
