Geez instead of calling out call in a Union representative get their take on the situation and follow their advise and unionize unionize unionize.. need to organize so that someone can approach the company with leverage.. No leverage behind an oct 2 call out just pissing high ups off ..unionize in the same fashion reddit Facebook here Twitter people know people at other stations this could be done in days from one side of the u.s. to the other.. but UNIONIZING should be the focus an organization needs to be built.. get a rep from whatever union we are allowed to join and hit it hard but you need a rep from them.. amen

You obviously know nothing of what you speak. It ain’t quite that simple. You might want to do some research before talking about Express unionizing.

A complex and slow process especially in those so called "right to work" southern states where Charlie Redneck and Billy Joe Sixpak believed that the legislation would give them easier access to the low skill, low pay jobs they seek. Only until they discovered that all the legislation did was to barricade their pathway to workplace rights did they understand what they got themselves into.

Unfortunately now any effort to organize FDX southern state employees into a national union would be met with court challenges to stall and delay if not end altogether an attempt to create a nationwide FDX workforce.

Any effort now to organize FDX into a labor union would be too little....too late. The only hope now for the displaced non retirement age FDX worker both directly employed by the company and contractor employed is to somehow get to a better place.

Where is AGFS?
AGFS is the only division of the company worth working for. An AGFS employee can always be spotted in their natural habitat of an air conditioned tractor parked under a shady tree taking an afternoon nap. They are always that one or two employee that are at a DGO station standing around during the sort doing nothing. Usually found chopping it up with employees and managers watching them work and then heading off to the break room for a fresh up of coffee. At their own stations they usually have a nice leather couch, tv, foosball, and ping pong table. When the director is visiting and people are playing ping pong, the director does not ask if they are on the clock, but rather exclaims, "Lets get a tournament going"

When I worked at a Ramp for a short time, if you were looking for my manager he could usually be found out front in his fold up chair smoking a cigar. Club Med.
