The Mayor of Toronto was taken out of office my a court ruling today in a conflict of interest case.
This man took his sense of entitlement to new limits. He had no couth .
When a reporter asked him his favorite place to eat in Toronto his response was "my car"
He had been spotted on his phone driving and talking, reading speeches eating etc....
Looks good on him.He had no place being Mayor in the first place.

Yup, Edmonton was the place to be this week. The city declared it Paul McCartney week, and had his songs and those of the Beatles paying all week long downtown and in City Hall along other special events to welcome him here.
Paul even signed autographs and shook hands downtown, and going in and out of the hotel - Hotel MacDonald , same Hotel the Rolling Stones, Princess Kate & William stayed, among other celebrities and prominent figures that visit this city.

[h=3]Illegal immigrants sneaking out of Vt. into Canada[/h]DERBY LINE, Vt. - New concerns at the Vermont-Canada: authorities say people are being smuggled illegally from the U.S. into Canada.
Border agents could only watch as a caravan with California license plates and a dozen Roma, also known as Gypsies, zoomed across the Vermont border heading north this past October. The car stopped in Magog soon after and called the Canadian Police. When the Mounties arrived, the Gypsies applied for political asylum. It's a new twist on an age old problem.
In 2010, 85 people crossed the border illegally in Stanstead. The number jumped to 168 last year. So far this year there have been 260 illegal crossings.
People who enter Canada without proper papers can still get government assistance while they wait five years to apply for permanent residency.

Alright I'm a tad late with this but alas, the Canadian link to our boxing day, apparently goes back.
Pickup will be happy to know,I am part of the commonwealth.
If you attack Britain.we will kill your ass.
Ok here's the history of boxing day.
December 26 is called Boxing Day in England and other countries in the Commonwealth, but it is unknown exactly when it first began.

Boxing Day seems to have originated in the mid nineteenth century in England. Some historians believe the name 'Boxing Day' came about because the boxes placed in churches where parishioners deposited alms (coins) for the poor and needy were opened, and the contents were distributed on December 26, which is also the Feast of St Stephen. (St Stephen was the first Christian martyr.)

Others believe that the Boxing Day tradition originated as a holiday for members of the upper class to give boxes containing food, clothing or money to tradespeople and servants, in much the same way that many employers offer their employees bonuses today. These gifts were usually given in boxes; hence the name 'Boxing Day".
Oxford English Dictionary says this comes from the Christmas box; the verb box meaning: To give a Christmas-box, and then leading to the term boxing-day.
