In Mass a few years ago , the urbanites passed a law that banned trapping .
It was inhuman to hurt these poor animals.
Now because of it those beaver dams are ruining the landscape , flooding once dry backyards and undermining roadways .
Only licensed trappers can remove the dams and only after receiving gov't permission .
Thus a landowner no longer has any rights to the use of their property.

Just hrs after I typed the Beaver dam sand bag joke......
Well, guess what happened ?
A Beaver dam broke and caused one of our Alberta highways to flood over !
Alberta Transportation says the worst of highway 63′s flooding has passed and it’s now open to alternating traffic, but 881 is closed.
Spokesperson Melinda Steenbergen says 63 shut down last night around 9:30 because a beaver dam broke.

2 weeks from today the famous worldwide known Calgary Stampede (largest Rodeo on earth), is suppose to start.
With todays flooding (camparable with hurricane Sandy's flooding), it could be in doubt.
The Calgary Saddledom (where the Calgary Flames play) is flooded up to the 14th row, so is the entire Stampede Park.
My former house, in Calgary, might not be standing anymore, either.
75000 people are evacuated, so is the entire downtown of this 1.1 million populated city. Many surounding areas are also effected including Banff.
Banff is secluded. No one can leave or enter that beautiful mountain town.

That was in northern Alberta, by the famous Oil Sands City of Fort McMurray.
This major one is in southern Alberta.
