Plane Hits Fed Ex Truck

This happened today in San Luis Obispo, California. One confirmed dead. This happened about an hour ago.

Per Heavy.com, the FedEx driver was not injured. I have seen one picture where it looks like the truck was hit with flaming debris. Sounds like the pilot was the only one killed. It was a Cessna 337 (push/pull twin engine) that crashed.

a shame the pilot was killed, but fortunate that the driver apparently is okay....unfortunately for him however, he'll be receiving a preventable for not getting the big picture.

Yeah sucks it happened, after I got off at UPS I came home and woke up from my nap with the alert on my phone. I live semi-near the crash site and could see the black smoke billowing from the building.

I don't see a FedEx Truck.. .however there is a contractor truck for FedEx there, no worries about preventable, they don't do that at Ground.
