Does 70 cents an hour really matter that much?

If you only got .70 an hour increase, in 3 years it's $4,368 with just 40 hrs at 52 weeks, not even counting OT. If you got .70 this year, you'd be entitled to the future increases on the way to top rate. Something more like $5k. It's definitely worth pursuing.

You need to contact your BA at your local. They made charts up that show the pay rates for drivers in progression for both the previous contract and the current one. I believe you'd get the general increases regardless of your red circled rate, as it's considered your base, but would only progress beyond your red circled amount from your progression increases when they exceed it. That's why they made charts.
