Retirement or LTD ?

Not positive but based on what I've seen at my bldg. LTD is indefinite until your pension kicks in (or UPS pays the employee off) if the injury is work comp. and permanent. Two examples in my center are a back injury and mental/emotional duress (both employees sued).

LTD is limited to 5 yrs until SSDI kicks in if the injury or illness is not work related. Again the examples in my center were an employee with severe type 1 diabetes and one that had a stroke.

I wish i had the UPS benefits but unfortunately i'm on FX "lack of benefits program" but thxs for the info..
