If a second hole was drilled in it, you you be able to just pull the pin, slide it in further and then put the pin back in? Or would it still stick out too far?

The hitch comes out from the receiver, just past the bumper and then down slightly. If they drilled another hole in the receiver, the back of the hitch would be obstructed by the bumper itself. Hope that made sense. :)

We don't even have receptacles for them here. We just store them in RDR.

​What if they drilled another hole and he pulled it out and put it back in upside down?
