Ever watch WWE? Sure they yell at each other on camera. Afterwords, they takeoff their costumes and go party. While Rome Burns. If you haven’t figured this out yet, I don’t know what to tell you.

Uh. Yes. Everyone has figured this out. The republican party has become an embarrassment to the country.

The first time he needs Democratic votes to pass something will be the last week of his stint as Speaker.
Pretty sure democrats will sit by and allow the republicans to devour themselves. The Republican Party has no interest in governing at all. It’s truly a fascinating implosion.

He had to make so many concessions to the Rad Right that all he has left is the gavel.
Among the many concessions he had to make to the Rad Right was that any spending increase in one area had to be meet with a corresponding reduction in another. That is all well and good until September when the federal spending authorization expires.

In the meantime we don't know if Putin along with his Iranian and Belarussian allies are going to undertake an all in Battle of the Bulge style final assault in Western Europe. Perhaps Kim will want to show South Korea and Japan who's boss. And given the way China is cuffing Taiwan around we could find ourselves in the biggest naval battle since the Philippine Sea. Perhaps all at once.

Then too, the people in the South know what late summer means from a weather perspective. What it's going to cost to rebuild the Gulf Coast following this years hurricane when we haven't finished totaling up the bills from last year's hurricane.

And since many of the Rad Right congressional members are from the South we'll see what they have to say after the hurricanes, tornados, floods and droughts gets done with their districts.

That’s all presidents and administrations.

And yes. That’s how you view him. As a blameless victim. Which was my point from the beginning so we are in agreement.
Have I ever said blameless? He likes to poke his finger in people's eyes. But a lot of it, which you bought into, was made up BS. You know it now but refuse to concede he's not what your party portrayed him to be.

A lot of hyperbole there. A Dem's worst night, reduced spending.

Perhaps we could begin cutting spending by cutting out all that free healthcare for people who claim to be too poor to buy health insurance which in turn raises premiums for responsible people willing to make sacrifices in order to buy insurance because they recognize their obligation to do so.

Do you think that is a good place to begin cutting spending?

Sure thing. And let's cut out superfluous spending like offering half a trillion dollars to college grads to buy their votes. That's also an excellent place to start.
