I just finished my 30 day qualify for my 22.4 driver position. I set up my teamsterups401k.com account and I'm going to start saving. But I cant find anywhere, how much UPS will match in my 401k, if any at all.

UPS doesn't do much of anything for their employees. They most certainly are not going to give you some of that money back you made for them from your blood, sweat, and tears.I just finished my 30 day qualify for my 22.4 driver position. That's why you have a balanced portfolio. That way if you need some cash in a down market you don't have to worry about it.And then right before you start to pull it for your retirement, watch it dissappear when the market tanks.

Look at the employees who had all their $ in just Enron Stock.
Pensions are garbageThere is no match, but there is a pension.
That's a fairly uninformed comment, yada. Pensions generally offer a much lower expense ratio and a greater diversification of assets.Pensions are garbage
Yea, until they run dry before or during your retirement. Not something to rely onThat's a fairly uninformed comment, yada. Pensions generally offer a much lower expense ratio and a greater diversification of assets.
Says the people without one. Do you have any idea how much money you would have to have in a 401k for a $3000/mo. payout for the rest of your life?Pensions are garbage
My bank account disagrees with you every 1st of the month!Pensions are garbage

I guess it all depends on how long you live.Depends, probably not as much as you think.
Ummm, I retired at 49. If I make it to 79 that's $1,548,000. So to replace my pension, I'd have to have that $1.5mil on top of what's already in my 401k. Probably more than you think...Depends, probably not as much as you think.
