vacation and retirement

An employee has a senoirity date of Sept. 2000. In Dec. he is able to pick his vacation even though he has not completed a full year. This follows in each year of his employment. In May of 2010 he takes the vacation he chose in Dec. If he were to retire in Sept. of 2010 is he eligible for vacation pay?

In Central States, when you have worked enough days( I forget how many days) for the next year's vacation time, they have to pay you that time.
