UPS announces the opening of Europe’s first UPS Integrad® site, a next generation driver training facility, in Cologne, Germany. The facility will train UPS drivers to hone their skills in safety, customer service and efficiency. Frank Sportolari, president of UPS Germany, and Hermann Gröhe, Germany’s Federal Minister of Health, recently attended a ceremony to inaugurate and tour the site.

Collaboration with SAP will add an Industrial-strength Solution for Supply Chain Management as Part of On-demand Network
UPS (NYSE: UPS) will launch a distributed, on-demand manufacturing network that links its global logistics network with 3D printers at The UPS Store® in more than 60 locations around the U.S. and Fast Radius’ On Demand Production Platform™ and 3D printing factory in Louisville, KY. The integration into one additive manufacturing and logistics solution this summer will make 3D printing accessible to more potential users, enabling them to realize the convenience and cost-savings this technology offers.

New building expands pickup and delivery operations around Austin.
UPS (NYSE: UPS) today announced the construction of a new package distribution facility in the Austin area. The package processing facility will include automated sorting systems and will house approximately 300 UPS® delivery vehicles. The new building fortifies UPS’s integrated delivery network in central Texas and addresses growing customer needs across a variety of industries. UPS will invest more than $70 million on the project.
Follow My Delivery enhancement gives customers more visibility
UPS today announced the launch of Follow My Delivery, a new enhancement to the UPS My Choice® service that offers unprecedented flexibility, convenience and visibility on the day of delivery. More than 22 million UPS My Choice members in the U.S. utilizing their mobile devices or computers can now monitor the progress of their most urgent UPS® Air and UPS Worldwide Express® packages on a live map. The new Follow My Delivery map feature enables delivery recipients to see a detailed view of where their package is located when it’s out for delivery. UPS plans to expand the Follow My Delivery feature to more services in the future.
